Being a Leafs fan has given people shell shock. I hope those days are over but there's always that chance and it's scary.

Guys I may be in the minority here, but I have a really bad feeling that the Leafs giving up any significant assets for McDonagh will end up being the same bullpoop we used to see from the Leafs... throwing away the future to chase fools gold.

I just don't see how it makes sense to sign him long term and who knows if we could or should afford it. He is already not the same player he was 3 years ago, and I don't think he brings us a cup, and as a rental... he is damn expensive.

Stick to the plan. Develop our own players, unless we can get something valuable without compromising the future.

Oh I agree. They need to win this game, all this talk of Karlsson, McDonagh, Grabner, Tavares. Can make anyone excited.
Isles are fighting for their playoff lives. So i expect a strong game from them. We beat them 5-0 and 7-1 this year. I'm sure that the islanders are pissed about that
