Why do we continue torturing ourselves with a blog manager who spews fake news and cannot predict anything? It's like a weatherman who is always incorrect. I don't think so. I think if it ever reaches the point where this volume of rumours leaks out about a player of that stature it's going to happen.

Karlsson settling for nothing less than market rate with one of the poorest and/or cheapest teams in the league reluctant to pay it, there's really only one outcome.

Of course, all the rumours a few years ago were that Stamkos was going to test free agency, and then he didn't, but i'd argue it's a lot different this time

Also if things have really reached the point of irreconcilable differences between the team and player, there's absolutely no reason not to trade him at the deadline to get the biggest return possible. Unless they insist on this dumb idea of attaching ryan to any trade
