I feel like they have a lot of the parts to make a run this year and they are one big tweak away from having the parts to compete in the grind of the playoffs

They are looking for a Lindros type return. Gudas plus about 5 other assets, a 1st round pick, prospects etc.

It's a shame some fans don't have more respect for a player who is willing to take on challenges from bigger and stronger players and not back down, and is willing to stand up for his teammates.

As a barometer I just read this dozzy of what to expect.....Sergachev, Tyler Johnson, Taylor Raddish and the 2018 and 2019 first picks for Karlson. That is some crazy shiite right there.

Zero chance seeing apparently you have to take Ryan's crazy 7+ mil cap hit with it. Karlsson is amazing, but Im not sure this is where you make your move because the assets you have to give up you would want to sign him and he will be one of the highest paid players in the league. 11-12 mil cap hit... no thanks

What's crazy is Tampa could pull off that trade and still be a deep team with plenty of prospects to back fill roles.
