I have a thought as to why only Holden has been traded so far...

Maybe Gorton already has a few trades already agreed upon, he is simply trying to complete the biggest one of all ( Capt. Mac ) so he can announce them all at once. Any trade involving your captain is going to shake up the fan base and upset the lockerroom, so why not just rip the band-aid off and announce multiple trades together?
