Yes, McDonagh will seek at least $6M on a new deal, But that's alot better than Yzerman having to pay him at least the $12M annually which Karlsson will demand long term, in wanting to be the highest paid NHL player, as he has said. Also, Karlsson is not 1/4 as good defensively as McDonagh, which is Tampa's biggest need on the back line, with Hedman already leading it's way offensive wise on it there.
But they are going for the Cup right now and for a few seasons to follow in a big way. Yzerman said a few weeks ago, that they would "not be making "SIDEWAYS" moves at the deadline. That signifies his willingness to add whatever is necessary to win it all, with their #1 & possibly only need, being to acquire a top defensive defenseman.
The rumors had that in prior weeks' discussions on McDonagh, he wasn't willing to depart then with Sergachev in part. But with at least Toronto, Dallas, and Boston still likely in the mix, his bargaining will not be with Gorton, what it was in the Cally/MSL trade a few years back. Gorton both has, and must keep his edge over him this time around.

OK, maybe Paris makes the list because I do love me some fine dining, guess I overlooked that obvious perk. Stockholm was on my list. I really want to go to Bosnia & Herzegovina and I have a buddy who's married to a Croatian girl and has been numerous times and raved about it. Pretty much anywhere in Greece would be attractive to me too, lots of history there since you people invented democracy and anal sex.

Part of our Med. cruise was Dubrovnik, Croatia, and it was the most beautiful place we saw. Topping Venice, Olympia and the Greek Isles.
In Bari, Italy we had one of the greatest meals of our lives, just in some little hole in the wall, off the beaten path. Simple fare, but AMAZING. The waiter wanted nothing to do with us, because we didn't speak Italian, but the owner more than made up for it.

As I said, I see most of Toronto's games. I don't feel Kapanen will be a bust by any means, he just can't crack that forward line-up. Bracco on the other hand, I don't even know who he is. So, I say no to that package. Plus, their 1st rounder should be about 26th overall.
