Tanev for Lildjegren and anything else is fair say a 2nd or nothing even. Tanev is a great shut down de but he gets hurt too much

Odds are that Lilgren never cracks a top 4. I would not trade a proven top 4 defencemen with a good contract for anything less then a first plus a top defensive contract. Keep in mind the 1st will be in the 20s and those mid round defencemen arn't 100 percent to make the NHL no matter how good they look in the minors.

I like Vanek to PIT whoever mentioned that before. Vanek will get his cup in PIT then sign back here to mentor with his cup ring.

WPG seems pretty stingy. I’m hoping it’s TB and TOR in a bidding war for Tanev. Ideally McDonagh goes to Boston and Green goes to Washington, wishful thinking but that would put pressure on TB/TOR to make a move.

Vanek to Anaheim I could see. But Murray would probably only offer a 4th since he doesn’t like paying for rentals.

Agreed on Hutton, I like him but Green doesn’t so move him.

nhl is boring for the most part, no one hates anyone, its not like the old original 6 days.

Hoping for Nolan Foote at next years draft, Cal Foote at this years TDL.

The fast/skilled teams are fun to watch. But I agree, even back when I was younger during the WCE line days, the hate between teams was more intense than now.

i dunno. i think this perception is fuelled by the fact that we've had a bad product in this city for several seasons. bad teams don't generally have strong rivalries and so there is a certain lack of emotion.

i think the league as a whole would look better if the team we support did.
