Draft capital can be used in exchange for players.

We would be lucky to get this offer. Yes

If anything I feel like we would need to add the second

- MCGUIZZY

I agree. The constant over valueing of Kane is ridiculous.

Kane straight up for sprong and call it a day.
Add a pick on buffalos end too, if needed

I would do Kane and Girgensens for Sprong.

This assumes the pens think girgs can play 3C

Thats a good question. The only thing i dont like about him is he is a rw. We have a lot of rw depth coming up soon, especially if svech or zadina is added to the list.. We really need lws at this point.

I really don't know much about sprong but do we think he would be a top 6 winger?
- Shadman306

Hes got top line potential imo. Highly skilled

We exchanged draft capital for:
lehner 1st
Ror 2nd
Kane 1st

It's more rare that draft picks do not change hands for the sabres recently.

I'd rather put Larsson in there instead of Girgs.

I think that depends on Nylander and Mittelstadt's ending positions. Nylander still has top6 potential IMO and Mittelstadt could very well be a winger rather than a center in the NHL. Just an aside, overall you're right.

We're thin everywhere other than center.

Mittelstadt shoots left and would likely play LW if he plays wing when he gets here . Nylander can play both wing positions.

Nylander looks like hes another year away from the NHL. Sprong is on the brink becoming a regular

I do, but banking on Cody Hodgson being a 30goal player IMO was a wet dream if it even got that far.

RoR and Eichel we have locked up. Asplund, Pu, Mittelstadt and Davidsson all look to have NHL potential. Since we have 2 lines locked up and E-Rod for the 4th line, it's the one position I'm happy with at the moment.

Makes sense with Mittsey, I do like that they've had him play both sides on the PP in school though.

With Reinhart locked up and hopefully a 2nd line winger in Nylander, IMO we don't need help on RW as much as other places. Honestly, I think a half way decent defense could improve our forward ranks dramatically.

So swearing is off limits, but physical violence is fine? I went to the ACC when the leafs played the Sabres in '98 as an 8 year old. I'm sure there were f-bombs flying. I understood that I wasn't allowed to swear in my house. It's not like I went to that game and came home a drunken sailor

They'll still draft a QB early. Tyrod is the stop gap. If we can't get a good price for a vet, why not?!
