Isn’t there a decent center/winger out in Colorado? I heard he wants to be a leader and is getting to be that age.

Having seen him play a few times AND looking at the Pens prospect list...I doubt it.

I think this would be a great trade for us that we should take, but I just think it's a huge overpayment for a rental. Too good to be true.

I agree. He's probably just as good as Kane moving forward. Why trade away their top prospect, for 1 run? Maybe an extention for Kane would work better for pitt

They just got a 3rd for an AHL player. Well played.

There is no way Kane or Pouliot should be dressing for the Detroit game tonight. Even if either/both of them were to score 5 goals, at this late stage it won't impact their value as a trade-able commodity. GMs/scouts know what they are getting with these players. Playing 2 more games before the TDL is not worth the risk of a serious injury and getting squat for them. The same could be said for Lehner and Gorges.

The main issue is, they can't bench half the team because they can't call up more players. So as I hear what you are saying, maybe just the high trade chips should not play, Lehner and Kane. The rest, not much you can do. (Lehner could dress as backup though)
