To tell you the truth, I have no interest in expending assets on a wing unless we move Sheary for Brassard. I also have no interest in moving Sheary for anything less than Brassard.

If no Brassard, find a way to fit Ryan or Plekanik under the cap without moving Sprong and its a successful deadline, IMO.

Penguin fans should be all in on Brassard, he was one of best players for Rangers in both their 2014 and 2015 playoff victories over the Pens, he's a monster in post season

Come on man, don't come around with that ignorant crap. Saying things that assume that just because a bunch of different people like the same team they must think them the same about everything and everyone.

Sprong is a juicy prospect that hasn't proven much at a NHL level, a few people including myself, arnt totally sold yet. His underlying numbers in a small sample size, much to my surprise, were pretty fn good though. In saying that though, I wouldn't lose one wink of sleep tonight if Daniel Sprong was traded today and it brought in Brassard but no way do I want to see him go for a rental. When down the middle of your tream on the ice costs 20ish million alone (maybe much more after Monday) , cheap ELC's have to be used somewhere in the lineup. A guy like Sprong, with his skill set added to the centres they do have signed has crazy potential going forward.

I won't be surprised at all if GMJR-in-whom-we-trust gets rid of Sprong before Monday's deadline; the organization seems well on the way to deciding that he will never play in Pittsburgh.

But don't give Sprong away just to rent some cancer from Buffalo for a couple of months, that would be beyond idiotic.

Sprong is still only 20 years old. I think assuming he will never play in Pittsburgh is kind of off base. Pens have been letting their forwards marinate in the minors for a while. I know everyone points to DP and his "mishandling" or "bad attitude" but I don't really think Sprong and DP's situations are that similar. He's still producing at a point per game rate in the AHL, as a 20 year old.. that's still promising.

Any young player not on an organization's NHL roster is obviously worse than any player currently on the NHL roster.

Dylan Strome is worse than every single player currently on the Coyote's NHL roster because he is not the "the big club."
