I have no problem having a goal scorer that may be a little selfish on the team. I think a team can incorporate one guy like that in an otherwise stable room. But, as a leader, no thanks.
- Pete V

I don't want him polluting Buch either. I can see him brainwashing him to go back to Russia to play in the KHL.
His record speaks for itself, he quit on his team for money.

Even Tony can SEE this.. and he is visually impaired.
The guy is a bum! a talented Bum, but a bum nonetheless..

Name one Russian, besides Federov, that is a "leader".

Almost all of them are talented players who whine, and mope when things don't go their way

boy Hayes is going to be a nice trade chip next year when Chytil and Andersson come into their own huh MDW
- mrn22

Unfortunately yes, if they both do well.

Still want to make Andersson a winger. He plays like a power forward.

I hear you. I said I was neutral on him, because honestly, haven't really thought much about him in the last three years. Haven't seen him play much, if at all, and playing against crap teams in the Olympics doesn't do much for me one way or the other.

The Kucherov twins were fuucking awesome. I got to center those two crazy bastards for a while. I just came late into offensive zone and waited for them to give my puck in slot!!! We also had another crazy bastard on D. I saw him two hand chop a player on the Rochester Americans right over the head! 2 game suspension..thats all Brian Gionta was on that team. He is the Captain of Team USA

He'll be 34 soon. So age 37 for Nash. I apologize. We've seen enough of Nash.

We could make this rebuild go real quick though and be back in the playoffs by next year. Sign JVR, get some help on D and we’re right back in it.

Kreider Zib Buch
Miller Chytil JVR
Andersson Hayes Debrusk

Skjei Carlo
Smith Shattenkirk
Gilmoure? Pionk? DeAngelo?

I don't get why people are shocked or disappointed in USA's finish. Considering the pool they had to choose form, they weren't going to be able to skate with other countries top players. I give them credit but they were handcuffed.

And yes I agree.. Kovy being head and shoulders above a bunch of amateurs , college kids and has-beens does not impress me one bit.

Who’s captain material on this roster right now once everyone gets traded? Zucc is the closest thing to one but he may be gone too. It’s the fundamental problem this team has had for years now. Especially vs Ottawa last year, when times got tough they couldn’t keep it together in any way shape or form

Say what you want about Kovalchuk. But EVERYTIME the guy scores it’s like he just had an orgasm..he’s emotional, it rubs off on players. He left Jersey what 5 years ago now? He wants the Rangers, he didn’t want the Devils

Donato, Terry look good, but they will be Vesey type players in NHL. I love how announcer said Bobby Sageunetti....NYR 1st round pick!!

All the announcers are like, "yah, they look good at Olympics, but suck at NHL level"
