No, but the Vegas shooter used a bump stock which is pretty much a $20 piece of plastic that makes it full-auto. How bump-stocks and slide-fire mechanisms were ever legal is utterly astounding. - eichiefs9
This is still up for debate. There were guns with bump stocks supposedly mounted on a tripod which makes ZERO sense if he was using it. All we know it was on some of the guns in the room had them and some didnt in pictures that were "leaked" . The fact we still know NOTHING about that whole incident is REALLY REALLY Scary.
There are video cameras all over the casino... its too fishy to believe anything, was he alone, did he have help, what guns did he use, what did he not, etc... Scary man.. and just WRONG.
OK, so clear the air for me so I have a better understanding. How do you feel about the fact that only a small percentage of Muslims are terrorists and/or the fact that only a small percentage of Mexican immigrants are dangerous criminals? Do you support both of those groups since only a small majority of them are dangerous?
Ding ding ding. But let's blame the gun - nyrangers9479
the kid was legally able to purchase 10 of the things without the bat of an eye but any clerk in a Circle K store would have turned him away if he tried to buy a 12 pack of Miller Lite
it's frustrating that you guys dont see a problem with this here

Why is no one saying anything about the cops who showed up at his house like it was a donut shop and never seized his weapon. Or the FBI ignoring 2 tips after he posted he was going to be a school shooter? Maybe if the authorities did their job it could have been stopped. - mdw7413
Read his history before he bought that gun. And yet he was able to buy it. Because buying an AR-15 should be as easy as going down to Kentucky Fried Chicken and buying a bucket of extra crispy, right? Yeah, the FBI (frank)ing blew it.
But, you want to know something, if you thinking your neighbor with an AR-15 is kind of creepy and you think he might be dangerous, even if you report it, there is nothing that they can do to take away is gun, unless they can prove something. Meaning the heebie jeebies you may have, and your due diligence as a citizen, probably won't mean poop.

So ur OK with AR15's, but have to be 21 to buy one?
There are over 300 million of them out there, what percentage of them do u think are used in crimes? - nyrangers9479
Unless yo are law enforcement or military on active duty; just make all guns illegal. The "Right to bear arms" amendment in the Constitution needs to be ratified. After-all, it was written back in the 1700's where it took you a half an hour to load one pellet into your rifle. Times have changed. The Constitution needs to do so, as well.

So everyone that legally owns an ar15 is a criminal that wants to do harm to someone?

Omg my thoughts exactly. Crazy gun people have no common sense, thus the problems exist

That wasn't the intention of the 2nd amendment though.

Despite previous reports linking the two, Nashville is not a trade suitor for Rick Nash. Don’t expect to see this materialize.
We could talk about this. So now I won't get one of Fabbro or Tolvanen. Looks like on on a high to...

Due process though Pete. Thats right up your alley. Same reason drunks still drive until their court date.

Due process is exactly what prevents you from confiscating anyone's legal purchased guns. Which is exactly why you should regulate how easy it is to buy a gun in the first place. Any gun. I don't want to take your guns away, except for the ones that are most likely to inflict mass casualties in a short period of time that have no other useful purpose. Is this perfect? No. Can other guns cause damage? Yes. But it's a start, rather than seeing children's blood spill in the floors of classrooms to the same (frank)ing weapon every time.
