The way I look at it is it would be Marner for McDonagh, and Nash for the late first. You take less on Nash to make up for the fact that McDonagh for a much younger player with more years under contract control favors the Rangers.

I'd be happy with Marner and a 1st, but that will be a late first, not sure if others want more or feel the Rangers should get more.
