Who is Andy Delmore and Mark Eaton for 500
- youarewrong

Dude Delmore had a playoff hat trick. He also scored 20 goals in a season. He is exempt from this list.

Scoreboard watching from here on out!

I though Lindblom had an excellent first game up. His presence around the net was very strong. He plays bigger than his 6'1" at times. He defense was really sound. He delivered everything I'd hoped for in one game. Really excited about this kid.

Just when I was finished watching Filpula not finish or execute (great puck skills aside) I reached a tipping point with him tonight. Ready to see him gone! UNTIL he saved that open net shot in OT and got it up to Jake for the GWG. Flip.... c'mon man! Please be more consistent!

Just handle our business and no need to watch. I hate having to rely on other teams. Flyers win 12 of the next 22 they should be in easy.

Wow we found the Andy Delmore fan club. Would anyone like to come up and claim Chris McAllister?

At practice Jagr used to wrap a resistance band around his waist and skate around towing Kubina behind him. I have it on video on an old phone somewhere.

Andy Delmore was absolutely fine when used as an offensive specialist. Dude just couldn't defend to save his life.

I don't see it as a confidence issue, I see it as his offensive skills are declining. He can still make an occasional play, and he still plays well away from the puck. Fillpula has done exactly what he was acquired for. He bought the team some time until Patrick was ready to take a bigger bite and get his strength back. With how important the center position is, I think the Flyers would've been in a hole this year if they didn't have Fillpula.

I agree he was the only option, he did give time for Patrick but the Flyers didn't know they had Patrick when the traded for Flip. He was brought in to buy time but he was brought in as a 2nd line, worse case 3rd line player. I do think he plays position well. The confidence issue is there, he will skate with the puck or make a move and then he kind of panics, loses the puck or makes a pass at the top of the O zone. If he can gain a little confidence he could be better.

Flip and Lethera have not been bad for what they are, that has been my position and it hasn't changed. Weise, he is a mess, he can skate but has no hockey IQ what so ever.

Agreed. He fell down a lot when skating backwards. Very good offensive player though.

Weise was supposed to have some of that beloved "sandpaper" to his game. Last night, he glided around the ice aimlessly and had no interest in making any contact whatsoever.

It's not a crippling contract, but it's Hexy's biggest blunder as a FA so far, which really isn't a bad thing.

I recall Ghost getting overpowered plenty of times. Kimmo was obviously older when he got here. Sanheim is not a player that has ever relied on being than everyone. I don't find that element to be necessary for him to succeed. Would he be better? Hell yeah

He isn't an idiot and he will learn to be better. I struggle to see how him getting overpowered a couple times makes watching Manning worth it. It is a bit like complaining about Voraceks turnovers IMO. Sure it would be nice if that didn't happen, but is anyone going to tell him to stop leading the league in assists? Take the good with the bad. Sanheim will reward you for it

- YuenglingJagr

Is Sanheim's ready to have his good be at a level where they could overlook his deficiencies. Based on his 35 games this season, I'd say no. So the comparison to the situations with Gostisbehere or Voracek is simply not a good one in my opinion.

This. I don't want a guy with little to no (not literally "no") NHL experience having to be ready to go at the drop of a hat in the playoffs. Would have been nice to get Sanheim some more games, but we needed more "grit" and "good teammate" minutes apparently.

Manning really did a great job filling in when we were depleted on the back end, but he has just been bad for the last 10 games or so, despite the team winning.

yeah the first part I wasnt being serious, knowing Hak would never give them time anyway, nor would I right now. Point only is, they need to pick up a D, they left no choice

They didn't have many center options at the time, so you're right, it was not just to help Patrick but to provide the same bridge until they could get better options. Patrick fell into their laps. I don't see it have anything to do with confidence. I think it's simply about declining skills. Weise is a disappointment.

confidence is always an issue for a struggling player. For example, that crazy G play made last night, he then dished to Flip, Flip with confidence probably puts that in or at least makes a better shot. Lack of confidence usually comes with wanting to get the puck off your stick ASAP, that is Flip right now. I do agree his skills have declined since just last year but you can see his lack of confidence in his decision making with the puck, he does better when he is defending.
