Strome is a good hockey player. The trade isn't actually terrible, at least in terms of Chiarelli's dealings. Eberle only has 43 pts, more than Strome for sure, but idk.

Is it though? I'm not disagreeing it was a bad trade. Value for value it was, but the whole reason for the trade was to dump salary cap. And people HATED Eberle last season and wanted his head. They easily coulda got more for Eberle and they should've, but to say it was a terrible trade is kinda dumb.
