Salo was the last really effective one but both Garrison and Weber had seasons where they were effective point shots.

Why couldn't you trade Gudbranson for a 1st, tell him he has a shot for the cup elsewhere this season, but then promise him you'd sign him back, even do a Gentleman's (Gentleperson's) agreement?

Pouliot has had more valuable PP time for sure.

Those points are the only thing that gives either of them much value imo. Hutton is clearly having a down year, hes still young and is capable of more. Realistically theyre both worth about the same to the canucks so it is preference based. Either way i definitely wouldnt trade goldobin

Pouliot can usually make a pretty decent tape to tape pass fairly regularly, Hutton on the other hand, not so much.
Hutton has had 1 alright season and 2 mediocre ones at best, Pouliot is basically in his 1st season as a fairly regular player.
