Yeah, I see many reasons why Glenndening is an improvement. Honestly there aren't many centers in the league that aren't an improvement over those guys.

I don't see a situation where the Leafs have moore or the Goat in the lineup past the TDL. Unless there is an injury

Gauthier's career CF% is better than Glendening, and that's not saying much and that was with Martin, not Komarov on his wing.

Glenny's an upgrade in the FO% department, but the difference of 4 or 5% is so marginal over a full season, it's such an overrated stat.

from what I see in Glenny, he is a great faceoff man, is not a liability defensively.

He won't give you anything offensively, not that getting 25% OFF zone starts helps. But for 1.8 million you shouldn't expect anything over what he does.

If they get him, it's simply a trade for Babs, the fans shouldn't care either way. It dosnt hurt our team, it dosnt help us a whole lot.

Cf% is ok if theyre both playing the same comp. go check out Glenny's comp....not sure whats up in Detroit but he sees a lot of the udder teams top lines
