yeah. just some house cleaning so they're not scrambling on the deadline day to clear up contracts/cap space.

i think they have a lot of irons in the fire and will pull the trigger on a fair deal, if one or more comes up. i don't think they're like the burke regime that sets its sites on a player and will pay any cost to get him.

I recall one year Keith Tkachuk scored 52 goals and 10 were empty netters. I have no F'in idea why I remember this.
