That would be ideal. Leafs play a tired, beat up Boston team in round 1. - PatC80

Unless Andersen gets more games off than usual, the Bruins will be getting to shoot on a tired MVP. Might negate any fatigue they may have. |

Komarov should’ve buried that puck in the gaping 4’x6’ cage but decides to aim on purpose for the post. That’s three times in last week. Sheesh |

Don't worry. Lou has a back up plan. This guy is supposedly really good, and they're working on the contract details now that they've gotten rid of Fehr's contract.

Looks like one of Bettman's idea's to increase goal scoring.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him make the nets bigger the year after it doesn't work according to plan. |

He's no goal scorer for sure but does a lot of work in the greasy areas of the game. If we didn't have him, folks would soon notice his absence. And some of these wins would turn to losses. Bet he'll have a great play-off for us. |

Dirty (frank)ing hit. Why was he wearing a Gretzky bucket from 30 years ago though? |

Very good game and Freddy being Freddy. Not going to complain much here the team played well overall. Some mistakes but...
Luongo is still a pain in the ass.
One thing Bowen mentioned was Zaitsev not being 100%... ok but if that is the case why not sit him some. We have such a cushion and Carrick is healthy. Bit confused on that one.
Lou getting ANYTHING in that trade was just amazing there.
Other than that just gonna ride out the week and see what happens. |

We all knew Komarov was an offensive black hole. That's why we wanted him off Kadri's line so Marner could get him producing again and make that line a legit threat as well as a solid shutdown line...
Komarov is still pretty defensively responsible, so I really don't mind him being on the 4th line for now. I'd suggest letting him walk after this year though unless he takes a lesser salary. |

Just like last year.
At least in his first year people didn't know better. This year though I kept reminding people of last year. He just seems to take a while to get into his groove. |

Meh.
The discussion was generally if he sucked early on or if was the team in front of him.
Clearly he sucked in oct and had since found his game; and then some. |

Hey, ladies.
Best player (non-goalie) tonight was Kapanen.
It wasn't even close. |

Probably right there. I guess I shouldn't complain about going from 2/3 of the cast being plugs to only having one player that doesn't belong in the nhl |

Once upon a time, McLaren, Orr, Phaneuf, Mike Brown and Mark Fraser all played together, at the same time on the same team. Holy (frank). - Unholy_Goalie
We all like to rag on Phaneuf but come on....he dosnt deserve to be mentioned with those players. He's a legitimate 2nd pairing d. |
