Gives him some time to put in some LEG WORK at the gym

it always impresses me how a guy with chicken legs is that hard to knock off the puck

If he can get healthy and put together a few good games in a row, I’d bring up Morin and put him in the lineup over Manning.

No one is gonna manhandle the big guy and at the very least he should improve the PK and provide a physical element that no other Dman on this team can come close to providing.

You know, had there been an Olympic break this year, these injuries wouldn't have happened.

Nevertheless, I'm still happy that there isn't such a break.

I’m surprised Hextall wanted salary retained, unless this portends another deal in the works. I believe they have enough cap space to take on all of Mrazek’s salary.

I give 3:1 odds he hurt his hand while destroying DeAngelo's soul.

The temperature change today would've melted Neuvirth's ligaments anyway.

Making way for this year's Umberger no doubt.

With our luck, Provorov and Ghost would have got hurt at the Olympics and Jake would have come down with food poisoning.

Who knows. This could be a showing of what life without Simmonds is. 2-3 weeks is roughly what 10 games? I really hope Oskar takes this chance and runs with it. Would love for him to force Hexy’s hand into keeping him up once Simmonds returns.

Former can't-miss Flyers prospect Mike Testwuide's Olympic Games are over. He had no goals or assists and was a -3. I'd assume that's pretty respectable as a member of Team South Korea.

Nah we are already heading to foaming at the mouth raving about how Simmonds shouldn't have got hurt, Lindblom should have been up all year, whether or not the trade was an overpay, and what's for lunch today?

Right now, YuenglingJagr's lifemate Matthew Barzal has 62 points in 61 games to lead all rookies (by a lot). That puts him on pace for 83-84 points. So, Lindblom should only needs to score at a 3.7PPG rate to take home the rookie scoring race.

I give it slightly higher odds of happening than of Pittsburgh trading us a 1st rounder for Lehtera.

I'm surprised no one has blasted the Flyers medical staff for any of the Elliott/Neuvirth/Simmonds injuries. Yet.

Hope this new goalie likes to drink, cause if he goes all jonny quick and steals a cup he will never have to buy another drink.

Last year, I'm in shambles about Simmonds. This year, not so much. He's been mediocre at best.
