It ain’t the Spectrum, that’s for sure. From the mid 70s thru the mid 80s, opposing players, especially rookies, would hit the ice and look like deer in headlights. Between the rabid crowd and looking across the ice at guys like Schultz, Dupont, Holmgren, Bridgman, Wilson, McIlharghey, Brown, and Tocchet, it was not a fun experience for the opposition

Rather than complain about the usual scapegoats, I'd rather talk about Lindblom. I thought he played a solid period and really a straight forward north/south game. Always seemed to be around the net or around the puck along the wall. Wish his teammates would take the same simple approach.

Don’t like how Hagg and Amac backed up to give Montreal the zone before they scored. Hagg has been doing that lately. Knew Hagg wasn’t the best skater and his main job is to play solid D, but on the one icing Gallagher made Hagg look like Hall Gill skating back.Tampa up 3-0 on Washington, Blue Jackets up on Devils 1-0 as well.

It’s a bad mix. Neither is good with puck on his stick and neither has the slightest bit of offensive creativity in their game. It’s why this team could badly use a guy like Sanheim in the lineup.
