Talking to some knowledgeable friends who are leafs fans (oxymoron) they're saying it's a great trade for Philly. Think we should keep him to pair with Elliott.

With it being Lindblom being called up we know it's top 9. Which is what I think is scaring us all as this team is looking great since the top 9 was tweaked.

Hexy mentioned a possible injury during the recall announcement. It's why I'm worried who it is. Bill says might be Raffl who's had a nagging injury. That would probably be best case in top 9.

Honestly, I don't really know how negotiations work in this situation. Can you can negotiate an extension with lower cap hit to a RFA while they are still under contract?

A pending rfa rights can be traded and they can negotiate a new deal. He has to play his way into being tradeable imo. Nobody going to give us much more than a 5th otherwise

Does the condition only apply until June 30th? If the Flyers were to let him become a UFA and then sign him on July 1st at the start of free agency, does the 4th still become a 3rd?
