Tatar is a really valuable winger with term. I think you have who's sending it out the pick reversed.

I would think the Rangers looking for youth and prospects he could be had for a 3rd rounder and a system player. Of course I would rather that happen if they did any deal at all but either way I like the dimension he adds to the team in it's speed and transistion game. I don't think there's such a thing as too much of a good thing.

I think his goal total would only be more inflated on the Pens, which is good.

Rumored cost is a 1st but I don't think they get it. I could see us offering a 2nd, I'd be ok with that, but I could see another team doing the same and them going with the other team.

I'm not interested in trading guys like ZAR or Simon who will help us stay under the cap.

I thought he was adamant about Murray, Jarry, and to a lesser extent DeSmith, but Gustavsson wasn't mentioned. He's a bit of a hot prospect right now bit even last year wasn't thought that highly of so he could be a guy at peak value.

I guess it depends on how Gustavsson is valued, but fine, I was just throwing something together. You get the general gist of the move.

I said I’d trade 1st, sherry and desmith for domi... ya it’s “a kings ransom” according to willi haha but if he breaks out again and gets 60 points next season which is VERY do able for his skill set and already almost did it his rookie season then you won’t be getting him at all after that. 22 year old 1st round picks with that amount of talent aren’t available often. I’m not high on sheary but he’s far from a dump off but if I was a GM for another team there is 0 chance I’d pay a 1st for him so that’s where I think his value is. As for the 1st... our last 10 years of 1st round picks include, Esposito, despres, Bennett, morrow, pouliot, maatta, kapanen.... so I guess you could say you have a 2 out of 7 chance of having something worth value. Desmith... who knows if he will ever be a starter in the NHL again... he was expected to be the ahl backup all season and from scouting reports was never supposed to make it. Some people say ya but look what he did when he was up.... well tons of goalies have done that before then returned to being nothing... look what Andrew “hamburgler” Hammond did for the sens and now he’s an ahl goalie. Mrazek for a year was “untouchable” and now just went for a couple conditional picks... Just think there is a massive upside to domi that plays on a team that is terrible and could help us for another 10 years.
