I don't see this team ever competing again at a high level again without flushing out some of the core and getting new blood and leadership cause this one is stale.....Toews, Seabs, Keith I'm looking at you.

Keith and Toews are laughable, yet Quenneville still uses them religiously on the 1st PK unit with the 2 other underachievers for the year, Seabrook and Saad. And you wonder why there's no chemistry on this team !!

Unless.....Q is working the "tank" to it's fullest potential.....great job.

I think this could very well be an off-season trade. Seabrook would have to go out West.

I think their replaying before the last game of the player video where they are all asked to talk about their love of playing for Q and what a great coach they think he is says you are probably right.

the hawks season trend tells us not get to excited about this a blow out win; such previous wins have given way to periods of weak play and losses:

opening two strong wins vs pens and jacket: lost badly to: blues, knights, wild, aves

beat the ducks 7-3 on 11/27: lost 5 in row and could not score more than 2 goals

one of their best games vs the jets on 12/14 5-1: lost 5 of the next 6

the senator wipe out 8-2 on 1/9: over the next 6 games scored more than 2 goals only once went 2-4 over; shut out 2x at home while losing 4x at home

wiped out the wings 5-1 on 1/25 and then needed forsberg to do head stands to beat the preds 2-1 before this recent 0 for february losing streak started...

so now they blow out a completely disinterested capital team: what next??

you have to go with the same old problems will rear its head and they will start losing again...

Hey Enzo...outshot 15-4 in the first. puck management dreadful...Toews with 2 turnovers in his own end in the first 10 minutes of the game...great use of 10.5mildo by Stan.

Keith also with a couple of TOs in his own end as well. Full marks to the Kings - they've been on the puck aggressive and making opportunities. They're completely outplaying the Hawks...Forsberg continues to struggle...big surprise there.
