I think if Greiss is out longer than a week or two, they may want to look at finding a cheap backup. Gibson is having a good year in BPT but I have no faith that he'll look good getting shelled in the NHL. Not really sure who out there falls into the "cheap" category though.

I don't want to see him facing 40+ shots a game. That's a lot to expect from an NHL goalie let alone an AHL goalie. Hopefully Greiss will be fine in a week. It sucks that he finally had a good game and he gets hurt.

I like his game better than Martin's. Martin used to throw meaningless hit after meaningless hit, like he wanted to pad his stats. Johnston makes the simple hockey plays that win games.

Pelech watched Aho skate right by him to the bench and changed anyway. He couldn't possibly have expected any Islanders to be behind him. He's gotta be able to see the puck didn't make it all the way in deep. That was absolutely terrible.
