Yeah but Halak has seemingly turned it around. I can't blame him for allowing 4-5 goals a night when he's just consistently getting peppered with 40-50 shots. I think adding 1-2 defensemen that are able to actually manage to fix the transition game would be huge . They need to cut down on like 10-15 shots per game.

Good to see the Isles get a goal in the last minute of a period instead me trying to convince myself they're still in decent shape after giving up a goal in the last minute.

I think if Greiss is out longer than a week or two, they may want to look at finding a cheap backup. Gibson is having a good year in BPT but I have no faith that he'll look good getting shelled in the NHL. Not really sure who out there falls into the "cheap" category though.

I like his game better than Martin's. Martin used to throw meaningless hit after meaningless hit, like he wanted to pad his stats. Johnston makes the simple hockey plays that win games.

Isles actually outshot the Wild 12 - 11 in the first period. That doesn't happen often enough.
