Sproul is the only one of the 4 that im not so sure of. Seems like his decision making is a step behind those other guys but I would like to see him keep playing
- mrn22

I do not expect much from him. He's a player Rangers traded for by from a players that was a waiver-wire pick-up.

Sarcasm?

Either way.... +/- is only one stat. How many of those goals was he responsible for .....How many turnovers is he making? How much does he go out of position. How are is break out passes (one of most important things for a dman of his ilk).

These are things that must be judged.

- rrentz

Sarcasm.

I agree +/- shouldn't be relied on.

Here's an off-topic question. Why are we seeing Holland over Boo? What did Boo do so bad that kicked him back to the Pack? That line of Boo/Carey/Fast was doing their impression of the GAG line for a while. I don't get it.

Ehh..Holland has done fine as well. Im sure Boo has done some rookie things that AV didn't like and Holland replaced him, and is probably playing better in AV's eyes.

Boo needs to come out like a barn stormer in training camp and show he belongs all season

Jan Levine has demanded to be traded now to cover another team on this site, for more than one reason only!

Meanwhile, also with dundee's return, my longest posts, for one thing, will appear in page height to be only one liners in comparison.

Welcome back, dundee.

I need to speak with my agent as he failed to inform me of this trade possibility

Brassard is an interesting target this week. Sens need to make a hockey deal. Multiple teams, including Pittsburgh, are in the mix.

That would be just great. Another well-liked former Ranger to Pitt.

Have you been asked for a list of blogs that you refuse to be traded to?

They were given SO MUCH MORE than any other expansion team in history, but it's still an amazing thing. Can't help but think the mass shooting helped gel them together as a team. They are looking good

Oliver Ekman-Larson is a -36 if it makes you feel any better
- nyrangers9479

You forgot first that Arizona has the least points in the NHL this season. In addition, in 59 games played, O.E. Larson averages 24:02 TOI per game, the highest of any Coyotes player.
I'm surprised you also didn't mention the (-14) of your "favorite" forward there in STEPAN, but who has at least earned 10 Goals & 27 Assists in 59 games played in averaging 19:28 TOI.
Nor did you mention that the only, & highest +/- rated player of their's is d'man, Joel Hanley at a whole (+1) in a whopping 4 total games played.
How about Erik Karlsson at (-25), with 5 G & 35 A in 52 games played, in averaging 26:23 TOI? And he is a (-36) for his career, in wanting to be paid the highest for any NHL d'man.
And then there's your new "favorite" right here in SHATTY, who played in 46 games with a torn meniscus, prior to having surgery. That's in part why he was a poor (-14), along with earning a lower than expected, 5 Goals & 18 Assists.
But, at least Shatty was a +17 for his career coming into his and this team's, injury plagued and horrible season.

WSH gives up a third-round pick for Kempny.

Bob McKenzie Retweetet
Scott Powers@ByScottPowers
Michal Kempny said he’s been traded to the Capitals. He just left the building with his sticks.

Which means Holden should bring back a 3rd +...

First off Brassard will be a Penguin and they will threepeat, secondly we will not get a 3rd round pick for Holden like Chicago just got for Kempny #Rangerdestiny

Yesterday he had to defend three 2 on 1's. I know for sure 1 was a goal but it might have been 2/3 not positive. I don't think he's been bad but the +/- certainly isn't good, although his 2 defense partners this year have been Smith and Holden.....
- nyrangers9479

DeAngelo is bad defensively, despite you not thinking so. He makes other d'men that are poor defensively look like they are Norris Trophy winners. That's with the exception for Smith in the Rangers case.

Right now we're 10th at the draft but looks like we could drop as low as 6
- nyrangers9479

The Rangers are actually 7th lowest ranked at this point, as opposed to 10th. The basis in determining current rankings is a POINTS EARNED/GAME average, and not the Total Current Points Earned.
Currently, the Rangers average .983 Points Earned / Game as the 7th lowest ranked team through games played yesterday, while Ottawa at one spot lower, averages .895 Points Earned / Game.
Then you still have a long "TOM TANKING" ways to go before you can get the rights to having the most ping pong balls in catching thee lowest ranked team in Arizona, who is at a .724 Points Earned / Game average.

That’s fine. But remember if you can exchange me in for someone else, turnabout is fair play, and I get to do the same 😄😄
