Their drafting has not beeen that terrible considering how many picks and where they have picked.

Oilers Pens hawks look good bc any (frank)ing blind idiot can draft Kane, towes, Crosby Malkib and mcdavid. That being said the rangers need more top 5 picks.

The Rags drafting has been awful for a decade. That's the core of the problem as I see it. Trade some vets who can plug in and play well somewhere else for picks but if they blow those picks, which seems likely, what good does it do you? If they hadn't gotten lucky stealing Hank in a late round 18 years ago, where would they be?

So,
Skjei, Kreider, Stall, Hagelin, Miller, Buchnevich, Stepan, Anisimov, Andersson, Chytil, Shestyerkin,...

This is off the top of my head, so I’m sure I am missing some, but considering they made a habit of hamstringing themselves by trading high picks away I’d say the Rangers draft alright.

My self inflicted banishment was refreshing ...i have said from summer
this team was /is flawed ... selling or marketing the team with false hype
and y'all took it hook -line & sinker ..swallowed it like a pro would .......

hayes & zbad move up to # 1 & #2..easy
fill in with D D & Holland & Conn. tram of hopefuls

Deals will be out of left field .. no one sees them coming ....
all i know is when smoke clears ...
nash grabner gone but coming back next season
Holden DD for anything they can get
Mac get the necessary return for the top D man w/contract on market

Next yr we will be back with a force ... saw it coming when no upgrade came this yr.
Gorts & Slats sold us a bad bill of goods .. i for one knew this ...
No new coach , why he knows , hes a team man ,always propping up N Y R hockey

Using for Conn D men ? whatd ya think happen
LIKE : Gilmour Pionk

DONT LIKE D 'Angelo..looks like a small version Mac Rath the T O machine
not gonna make it
Sprool.. Not gonna make it ....

BY THURS I HOPE THE CARNAGE IS DONE : Zucc emerges as the new capt.

Dont ne surprised IF we Karlsson? or sum other block buster move

I'm welcoming myself back .. most wont read cause they hurt themselves doing so... I am dedicated to expressing myself
PS the other blogs run in similar unrealisitic realms too ...
Like we had a shot this year with out the move need to upgrade the middle ...THEN

im sure you're just mentioning higher picks, but gotta think hank in the 7th and now with ronning having 53g in 58 games who knows what we have with him. i'm hopeful he signs right after the deadline and can get some immediate game time w/ the rangers all but eliminated, though idk where his team stands in the whl playoff picture.

it's not doubt though that we are certainly feeling the effects of those years trading the high picks away. over the past 4 drafts (14-17) there's been a total of 3 nhl games played by 27 draft picks; the 2 by chytil and 1 by halverson

Ty Ronning up to 53 goals now and I have seen several people say the Rangers will get him inked to a contract right after the deadline

Just trying to list the picks that were certainly good picks from the last decade as that lovely Flyers fan commented on. I think Staal was longer ago than 10 years, but...

fast in the 6th too.

the draft is so hit or miss, you could drive yourself crazy going back and looking at ones in the past.

seeing whats in the pipeline just shows how big this deadline is. they cannot (frank) this up

the dumbest theory of all is that because they have missed on some picks in the past that means they will miss with who they pick in this coming draft

very conflicted on my thoughts of Miller

you cant argue AV (frank)s with him by yanking him all around the lineup and playing him with plugs like CM

but god the guy does himself no favors.. how many times to you see him coasting to a puck or looking a bit disinterested in the play.
