I was hoping they trade Guddy. I still do. His trade value has gone up now that he's signed... so maybe if he is traded after this season, we are in a better position. This is a tradable contract... providing the early details are correct.

Its a small sample size, but I will be less critical of the deal if they continue to use him like a top defenseman like they have the past couple weeks. At least they would be getting their money's worth from it

He has looked more like the Dman in Florida lately that took away high scoring chances(sure a lot of low scoring chances, but a good goalie will eat those up), cleared the net, etc. He has looked like the top 4 dman we traded for, rather than the injured guy he was when we got him.

Gudbransons contract will never ever be even close to as bad as LE's IMO. I think Jim Benning's worst move as Canucks GM has been that signing.
