I think you’d like him. Goal scorer who isn’t soft and also randomly loses his cool once in awhile and takes it out on opponents.

I've seen him play . I wouldn't complain

It doesn't surprise me , any management that wants to bring back two 38 year olds with NMC to a rebuild team can do little to surprise me anymore

He’s a legit 2nd pairing dman. I’d say he’s a very good #4 and serviceable #3.

the point is that the team should be getting more picks/prospects by trading vets at the tdl.

replace those vets with other mid-priced vets on shorter term (3 or less) deals. keep cycling in prospects as they become ready to play.

in 2-3 years, the team will have a good sense of how the core is developing and then should have enough cap to re-sign boesser etc. and a couple top tier ufa/trades.

re-signing a pending ufa at the speculated terms with the speculated "demand" seems counterintuitive to rebuilding.

and (not you) save the "rebuild doesn't happen until the sedins leave." the rebuild started a couple of seasons ago. they've just been doing a bad job at it b/c a lot of you were convinced that they could/should compete.

the team can re-sign the twins or any vets to short term deals as long as they are affordable. and btw, 2 players don't dictate how the team plays or what the team does. anyone who thinks so, is looking at a convenient scapegoat to avoid placing blame where it really should be. /rant

We do have a habit of playing players out of position

As much as i like dehaan, he does tend to spend a fair amount of time on the Tanev reserve list(injured)

If Gudbranson is signed you gotta believe Tanev is in play for certain. I wouldn't do it...dare I say the M word to guide Juolevi and Dahlin when we get him. If they do...to Washington for Carlson+...to Tampa for Sergachev+ or TO for Dermott+...ok let the bashing begin.

4 year 14 mil would be okay to me, but that ain't happening.

its funny because in this last little stretch, it seems like Guddy has shown a little more offense. If we had more of a puck mover, mobile d man to partner up with him, I think that would be the best fit. but we don't.

I hope the little grit, or threat of grit, Guddy has shown can be replaced.

Analytics will show that it's not sustainable and they should be winning the presidents trophy.

Lots can happen this offseason.
I’d think not but reserve my judgement.

I’ve moved on from corsi. There’s better stats out there. How many shots the dman allows from the slot/near the net. How good he is at moving the puck out of the zone against forecheckers, how good he is at stopping opposing forwards from gaining the zone with full control vs forcing a dump and chase, etc.

Chances are that a dman whis good at forcing dump and chase and then good at beating the forecheck is a pretty good dman in today’s game.

Cody Franson is a guy who is a prime example of why corsi is flawed

Dale Tallon's a smart hockey man. He wanted Gudbranson back. Just saying.

Awesome. Stats that are actually pertinent to a player.
