It doesn't surprise me , any management that wants to bring back two 38 year olds with NMC to a rebuild team can do little to surprise me anymore - VANTEL
Edler is our best offensive dman for the foreseeable future
Wow. Weird comparison. Goligoski is more offensive minded and considered mediocre defensively. De Haan is considered to be a guy whoās just solid all-around and is trusted to play on the PK. - Nucker101
Solid 4/5 defenseman. Wouldnt mind having him at all.

Whatever the deal is, has to be enough term and AAV for Gudbranson to want to forgo UFA. Heās making $3.5M now, so will be looking for some type of raise, no doubt. Three years with an AAV that starts with a 4 or thereabaouts, give or take a 200K? That would be my best guess. - VanHockeyGuy
4 year 14 mil would be okay to me, but that ain't happening.
its funny because in this last little stretch, it seems like Guddy has shown a little more offense. If we had more of a puck mover, mobile d man to partner up with him, I think that would be the best fit. but we don't.
I hope the little grit, or threat of grit, Guddy has shown can be replaced.
