Are we still stressing over how to construct the perfect 4th line?

aka literally the easiest positions to fill once you actually have a good team

I'm going to enjoy when you start whining about the 4th line sucking.

I don't see enough Domi to really know exactly how he plays but from Kane being in Winnipeg and listening to JB and TG. Kane doesn't sound like a fit here. TG has said that he wants a forwards that know how to win and help the team win, not just score goals.

For myself Kane isn't hurting Buffalo, he's just not helping them.

Have seen strides in games of Horvat and Virtanen this season where TG has helped them become less one dimensional in the offence zone. Maybe he could help Kane in that manor too.

Tkachuk is probably a combination of Domi and Kane together. All the good parts.

The fact that Kane is ripped on by his own fanbase is a red flag. Usually fanbases of bottom feeders overvalue their few decent players, as does the local media. Look no further than Jannik “elite 3rd liner” Hansen.

It’s a different story when you’re acquiring a doghouse player who’s going to be playing a smaller role or have less pressure on your team like when Kessel went to the Pens.

Kane is going to have just as much, if not more pressure in Vancouver, with a similar role as well.

I did back when the team was actually good and had scrubs like Oreskovich/Glass/Sestito on it.

Doing it when the team doesn’t even have a top 6 F, Top 4 D and legit starting goalie is hilariously stupid.

It’s like renovating a house and focusing on sweeping the dirty floors before touching the walls.

The games I have seen Domi he can be a very good player. He has potential to easily be a 20 goal scorer. He would fit in well with Bo and Brock where all three could easily be 20 goal scorers . An easy upgrade over Goldobin who has played the last three games top line.

Tkachuck should be our choice if available . Big strong and can play center. If we win the lottery take Dahlin but very slim chance of that. Easily an upgrade over Gagner Gaunce or Granlund . All three of those players are center/wingers.

Kane is still getting the fallout from his idiotic past. He is in fact a very good two way forward that has a little of everything.

Tkachuk would be a good fit, but I still think we need to draft a D with our pick.

If they really like a forward I would be perfectly fine with drafting one and going D heavy the rest of the way. Ideally they have an extra 2nd or 3rd after the TDL.

I think there should be a new rule moving forward. Nobody is to ever mention us getting 1st overall this year, ever. We are getting 5th or 6th pick all day long.

I like this idea as well. Question is, who do you select out of Tkachuck, Zadina, and Svechnikov? Tkachuck brings elements the other two do not but the skill level Zadina and Svechnikov are capable of is undeniable
