Good on Jim for making it known tjat Tanev is available, but not for cheap.

I'd say it's pretty safe to assume Hutton will be traded. Let's assume Tanev is also traded. Would you be ok with Edler, Del Zotto, Stecher and Biega as your defense I'd like to see Hutton and tanev traded and EG brought back at a reasonable contract. Or EG and Hutton traded but not all 3.

Oh god no, but I'd assume he'd also pick up a UFA or two – hopefully not on long contracts.

I'd like him to trade EG and Hutton, or Tanev and Hutton if the offer for Tanev was well worth it. Hopefully some of the younger guys can get a chance after the TDL so they can see what they have in the system.

He's good on the PK, and serviceable as a bottom pairing dman. That's my unbiased opinion of him.

c'mon let's be honest... if EG hadn't been drafted where he was, he'd be a bottom pairing d that gets signed in august.

the size and his "pedigree" keep fans wanting/expecting/wishing for more. let's be honest with who he is and cut bait.

that's not to say that the team shouldn't have size on the backend. i just don't want an overpaid 3rd pairing guy being the focus of it.
