Following up on what @DhaliwalSports tweeted earlier, contract talks between VAN and pending UFA D Erik Gudbranson are ongoing/progressing. Deal not yet done but seems to be headed in that general direction.

I would take a 5th round pick, or let Gudbranson walk in free agency rather than have him re-sign to be a overpaid hype man pylon.

Marner has negative value to us. No room for him when Boeser/Kane/Baertschi/Lind/Dahlen/Gadjovich/Eriksson are in the lineup 2 years from now

I'd say it's pretty safe to assume Hutton will be traded. Let's assume Tanev is also traded. Would you be ok with Edler, Del Zotto, Stecher and Biega as your defense I'd like to see Hutton and tanev traded and EG brought back at a reasonable contract. Or EG and Hutton traded but not all 3.
