I do however see 3-5 years to be truly competetive again even if you hit on some these guys. The trade with Arizona should of kicked off the rebuild and should of skipped on shatty

I’m encouraged by pionk and Gilmour and to a certain extent DeAngelo they haven’t looked out of place in the short time they have been up Gilmour is fast and fits with the up tempo style in today’s nhl.but need a heart and soul guy that can play not just fight the team is soft. Maybe av has to go. If anything it will be interesting.

I just think you guys could of progressed the rebuild by having room to either take on some bad contracts for picks or young guys. Shatty is good as a pp guy but is meh defensively mainly just throws the body. I hate AV always have think he needs to go. But yeah you still lack your focal point player outside henry

Just a quick shoutout to mjl Poink and Gilmour have played maybe 8 games each in the nhl and Sproul about 4 to compare that to the flyer defense in a positive way shows how bad they really are you guys better hope this was just a bad game for your defense cause if you get in the playoffs and your d plays like today it will be a one and done sweep I don’t care who you get at the deadline to play goal

The Flyers are one of the top 5 teams in the league defensively at 5 on 5. It's the PK where the Flyers biggest issue is. I wasn't meaning to criticize the Rangers as much as I was the idea that some Flyers defenseman suck.
