This is the point they were decent because of hank and when the workload caught up to him it showed just how bad the team is. Injuries and a horrible back up didn’t help every team has injuries but that’s no excuse. They picked the wrong guy for the backup they traded most of their picks to make a run didn’t work now they have to hope they can get some picks prospects at the deadline and hope chytil and Anderson will be at least top 6 guys as for the d Gilmour and Pionk haven’t been bad shattenkirk is what he is but took a discount to come here so I can live with it. We will see but something had to be done so it is what it is I guess and maybe a coaching change will help

It’s more fun when both the Rags and Flyers are good at the same time....these are definitely two organizations heading in different directions....thank Christ I’m the Flyers fan.

The year the rangers were the first loser the flyers were grabbing Travis Sanheim, NAK, oskar lindblom, mark friedman, and fazleez who all have good shots at being NHL players and 2 of which look like a top 4 defensemen and a top 6 forward.

That’s fine I never said they didn’t make good picks my point is most draft picks are a crap shoot unless it’s in the top five I’m just hoping chytil and Anderson turn out to be decent picks cause we don’t get a lot and we have screwed up when we have a few no denying that

They don’t have the contract issues the flyers had when they decided to go down this path. They will have plenty of cap space going through this which maybe they think hey can getaway with a retool. Like bob said New York won’t stand for a rebuild. The fans are too fickle
