he's got nothing to do but play his ass off and shut up if he wants another contract, whether it's here or elsewhere. i think he'll be fine in the room. as for the ice, we'll see. - hammarby31
Winning is the cure for all things. If he comes in and gets a few good starts the team will embrace him as will the fans and everything will be golden |

DET guaranteed no less than a 4th round for Mrazek. If PHI makes playoffs and Mrazek wins 5 games for PHI in reg season, 4th becomes a 3rd. If PHI advances to CF, and Mrazek wins six playoff games, the 3rd becomes a 2nd. If PHI re-signs him next season, DET gets PHI 3rd in 19. |

If Mrazek plays well down the stretch (and hopefully into the PO's), perhaps they try to move Elliott, who would probably be easier to move, and keep Neuvy as a backup.
Just wondering. - 77rams

Dang. Hextall should've held out for winning the CF, not just an appearance.
Still, I imagine Elliott will be getting the majority of the workload once he returns so a 2nd doesn't seem very likely.
In regards to the conditional pick if they resign him... It's interesting. Hextall could very well move him as a RFA in the off-season and recoup a mid round pick. So I think this is a pretty fair deal. |

Probably not, but Neuvy would be fine in a limited role and has shown he can come in cold and produce. And even carry the team for short periods of time. |

I don't like that at all. Seems like a real good shot at atleast a 3rd and possibly winds up as two 3rds.

Conference I believe. SCF is usually used for the former. |

Hextall will have Mrazek pulled late in every game he leads and put Lyon on the ice. Detroit in shambles. |

It gives hexy some options. If he's lights out, maybe you look later signing him. I like the idea of an Elliott mrazek tandem. When Elliott's contract expires, maybe stollie pairs with Mrazek. Or hart in 2 years

If Mazrek wins 6 playoff games he was definitely worth a 3rd. If they resign him then he's the goalie going forward an extra 3rd round pick for your primary goalie is a steal. |
