I was never one for buying jerseys when I was younger, but if I did, it would've been Dave Snuggerud.

I saw a guy in Bialowas Phantoms jersey recently. Not even at a game. Just at a dive bar.

I used to be that guy who wanted the obscure flyers jersey... Well now I have a closet full of ridiculous flyers jerseys I'll never wear again like Scottie Upshall, Shjon Podein, Joffrey Lupul, and Dave Babych just to name a few. God, was I that young and stupid

That's an epic collection for the man cave!! I've got quite a few as well. Mostly bigger names although I do have an upshall and a lupul

Thats actually pretty epic. They should have a Frank "the animal" Bialowas night at the flyers. I would actually go to that for the entertainment outside of the flyers and of course the mites on ice.

Upshall and Lupul aren't terrible choices. They were key pieces circa 2008.

Podein is an interesting decision, but he was a popular guy here, so ok.

Dave Babych is a head scratcher.

Bialowas was arrested for shoplifting a (frank)ing dimmer switch from Home Depot in 2015. How did I never hear about this?

This tells me its bad. If they knew he'd be out a week or two they would've just come out and said it. Holding there cards close to the vest, so they don't come off as desperate. Lyon blanking the Habs tomorrow night would help Hexy make a deal easier.
- nonpoint22

i don't think that's the case. there's no reason to announce now. they also really might not know exactly what the situation is yet.

every GM knows we need a goalie.

I'd still take him in a second.

it would depend on the cost. on the surface, i'm vehemently opposed, but that's the fan in me. he's got enough in the tank for a couple more years. what's the cost?

Yes, every team knows we need a goalie and maybe they don't quite know the situation yet. However, I still think there not letting out the severity of the injury so teams don't pumped up the price on us. Its just common sense.
