I think the weak link on that pairing has been Gudas. He just hasn't played well overall this season. I also think that Gudas and Manning just don't mix well as a pairing. On one of the Rangers goals on Sunday, they were literally hip to hip in the slot with Rangers behind them at the net.

Just playing devils advocate, but when hes been backup as long as he has the thought of it being his job for the foreseeable future might be enticing. However, wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to get away fro that train wreck of a franchise

They both aren't very mobile and would benefit from having a partner who is a strong puck carrier and can make a good first pass. Ideally that could be Sanheim but I don't think we see him up unless there is an injury. If I'm Hex I'd look to unload Manning for a 4th and use 2, 4ths on a goalie then proceed to call up Sanheim.

Flyers are going to have to create some space for next season on the defense for some youngsters to come in. It will be interesting to see what they do.

I’d be surprised if they traded Gudas or amac ahead of camp. Manning won’t be back. But Hextall is going to make the kids earn it.

I’ve been a big fan of Myers, but he can’t seem to stay healthy and he can be better in his own end.

Sanheim needs to work on the little nuances of the game.

Believe it or not I am prepared but we won’t suck as long as the flyers have( see 10year rebuild) can’t do that in new York but we’ll be back. It may take a year maybe two but nowhere near 10 so good luck trying to make the playoffs for the first time in a while the eagles win their first super bowl and the flyers might make the playoffs nice

there is loads of young talent being slowly filtered in, with much more to come in all areas, including goal - whether it's hart or sandstrom. they are going to be (frank)ing loaded.

Personally if we need to baby sit you on a pairing your e not worth it. Provorov and gost are their ideal partners but neither are good enough to play with those 2.

Mrazek is at the top of my list of possible goalies for the current Flyers situation. 3rd round pick is not the end of the world IMO.

Oh dear god. We've got a rangers fan here talking smack when his team is in shambles to the point management is sending letters to fans saying we're going to suck.

And if we want to talk about non championship accomplishments, the flyers have been in the final twice since 94 to the rangers once, in the semis 4 other times and own a 2 to 1 head to head series record.

10 year rebuild when we've been to the semis and final in the last 10 years along with the playoffs 7 times in that span. Some rebuid
