I know it will change but right now the Flyers vs Leafs would be our first round matchup.

Sign me up to watch that.
Two young teams going at it.

Also..
Freaking Giroux is now tied for 3 in the league in points.
To say he is having a better year than last year is about as big an understatement as you can make.

Toronto/Boston would be a fun series. Both fanbases might destroy each other too.

I get the idea of the whole divisional rivalry thing... But wow if things ended today. Boston and Toronto in the first and then assuming Tampa Wins their first round match up it's Tampa Vs Boston or Toronto. Basically the best 3 teams in the east beat up on each other while the Pens (assuming they finish where they are) get to play New Jersey and whoever the winner of Caps vs Flyers.

In the west you have Nashville/Winnipeg/Dal/Stl beating up on each other before the WCF. basically I'm hoping it goes back to 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7 and so on soon.

For sure!

The Pens are scary right now. But to me it'd be a lot more satisfying eliminating them than the Caps. Those Flyers vs Pens series from a few years back were madness. I wanna see Cooter female dog slap Frankenstein around again and Giroux bring the snarl back.

I posted that it should have been 6. I getvit that he is a first time offender, but he charged him, and left his feet. It was deliberate! Add in a sucker punch, and you easily have 6!

One of these days we’re going to see someone lose their minds, and swing a stick like a baseball bat in retribution. I LOVE rough, nasty hockey, but HATE cheap shots. Terrible decision by DOPS!

Without Lavy we don't play the Pens(or anyone) that way anymore.

I miss it. It was certainly a more entertaining brand of hockey. But hopefully within the next couple of years it won't matter because we will have enough talent on the roster to not need to play that way anyway.

Claude Giroux 69 points in 59 games. What a bounce back season he's having. I have to admit I was definitely skeptical about him being a top scorer again in the league. His speed has faded a little and his one-on-one prowess has diminished from seasons past but he's still one of the great playmakers in the league.

Just make sure the young players remember to acknowledge when Orpik and OV are on the ice. Couturier was injured in the first game of their last series by a savage OV hit along the boards. He was too nonchalant and didn't expect the rough playoff finish your check play. Orpik will look to concuss people.

Why isn’t anyone acknowledging the big news news: Lehterä with a huge goal. Flood gates opening, wine into water, sheep laying with Lyons!

Massive achievement.

Also, Fruad with only his 200th as a Flyer...really!?
