So... 2 years of a top ranked defensive defencemen (like Larson) on a cap friendly contract is worth less then an inconsistent winger who has been shipped out of every town he's played in?

Kane is signed for 3 months, why would any bottom feeding team like the canucks pay more them a 5th round pick for him?

He's worth Reilly, Marner and a pair of firsts to Toronto, but that's because they're a contender and their window is open right now.

I’m not calling Tanev garbage. I’m calling the guy out who said Tanev would cost a 2nd and Kane. Tanev couldn’t get a star player and a second if he was healthy let alone when he’s injured every year. Common sense bra. And know he wouldn’t be the Sabres best defenseman. If you think that you should study up on hockey guy.

Tanev plays like 50 games a year. Gets maybe 15-20 points a season. Good defensively but that’s about it.

Ristolainen is a zillion times a head of Tanev.

Scandella and Tanev are a toss up.

Guhle will be better than Tanev next year.

Just because we are 1 point out of last doesn’t mean we don’t have good players. Just means we don’t have ENOUGH good players.
