it's a cap era

he is not a good contract

not a great player

does not make his wingers better

does not score 5 on 5

it's not 1990 when you can spend spend spend and bury him on the 3rd line

his ego won't let them move him to the wing

and we trade for him to be a building block of the 30th place team in the nhl

none of this is what any of us envisioned 2 and a half years ago

nothing more, nothing less

This act is tired, and it's clearly personal with you. You're the king poopterstirrer on ROR. At least own it.

Well, I'm not just agreeing with you for forgiveness, lol. I've been banging the ROR hate drum pretty much since he backed into that Tim Horton's.

But I've never been one to snitch, so trust me, I've been down on myself for that just as much as anyone.

Beady is honest about his opinions. That's worthy of respect. you stir the pot with highly personal details about his life and then say "look at the standings, nothing personal."

Say what you really feel about him for once

The part that’s frustrating to me is we see him have unreal games, then disappear for 5.

But don’t question the great leaders effort!!! He holds special practices and wants to be a captain!!

I feel if he was a decent player we would be taking a step forward this season and be fighting for 8th in the east instead of stuck at dead last

you build a team down the middle

with ROR this team has gone nowhere

and don't cry about wanting to be a leader and then crash your truck into a horton's smashed right after you are paid to be a leader

never own what?

he is a third line player on a good team, paid to be an upper tier player?

if he put up 70 points per year, I would have no problem with him

if he said I am not getting the job done and willing to move to the wing to help the team, I would have no problem with him

if this team was 8th in the east and he was making reinhart and baptiste better nhl players, I would have no problem with him

just because we support Buffalo does not mean we have to expect mediocre results from players we pay well to get over the top

do I think he is a great guy, no

I don't think many athletes are great guys

average that makes mistakes, not great

when you are paid to be great, you should be held to a higher standard though then you hold a player like larsson or e-rod

And this is his biggest problem.

Don't dare say it's effort, though.

You're the only person here who makes it personal with ROR, and you say the most inflammatory and viotriolic things abbout him, but you'll never take the final step of saying "I hate him," because this way you come away smelling like roses. You never actually said anything. You're gaslighting.

It's like 30 games into the year, you said "I wonder what we could get for Jack." You meant the Sabres should consider trading him, but you never said it. You have plausible deniability. It's gross
