I remember traverse city the year sam was drafted...sabres went from 1st place their first year there in 2011 to second in 2013 (the lockout nixed it in 2012,) and were battling for seventh place when I wrote this:

In no way, shape or from do the results in this tournament mean that a player will or will not make it to the NHL. But based upon the results thus far, any expectations of a Reinhart (zero points in three games,) Lemieux (demoted to the fourth line in Game-2) or Zadorov (benched) making the jump to the NHL should be severely tempered.

But ..Team with no captain to keep them going is killing the flow of the team. Team is still to young but they need the guidance on the ice .
