I like Risto, but I have no problem if JB wants to move any of GMTM's long term deals. I don't expect a big summer, but I do see one significant trade coming.

There really is no magic formula, though. I mean, Briere and Drury were here together the first full year together, and the team blew, for the most part.

They dump Satan (a dressing room cancer from what I remember) and add some youth (Vanek), some savvy trades (Grier, a great leader by all accounts), Campbell breaks out finally, and their ascent to the top begins.

It doesn't have to be an all out purge. While we all want that, Botts needs to identify the "keepers" (as bad as these guys are, there have to be SOME keepers), and move on from the rest. If a guy like O'Reilly isn't a "keeper", then he's got to go.
