Is McCoy and a 2nd rounder worth alot more then the 11th overall pick in the NFL draft.
I think Corey Glenn is a guy the top drafting teams would be looking to add. Not sure about shady.
Glenn plays a hard position to fill in the NFL
Rbs are still easy to plug in with a good line, something bottom teams are lacking.
Both guys are Whaley guys so they both may be gone? - Boss34
Adding McCoy or Glenn or both with a 2nd moves us from our 2nd rd pick to maybe the top of the 2nd rd. 11th? Lol. Ya that’s not happening.
McCoy prob would fetch a 3rd on a lucky day and cordy a 5th or 6th at this point in their careers/salary. That’s moving you up a couple picks in the 2nd and not getting you anywhere near a 1st. |

If the amerks win a playoff round and: we didn't burn a year of :
Ullmark
Guhle
Nylander
Cj smith
Isn't that a good year?
If the sabres get:
decent returns for ufas
Unload some trouble makers
Get a top 3 pick
Isn't that a good start?
Not sure what people want from jbotts?
Scandella is clearly better than Ennis and Foligno
Wilson is worth at least a 5th
Mitts looks awesome
Good start in my opinion - Boss34
It wouldn’t be something that would cause you to turn over the taco bar, if it was the plan....

A lot of frustration is coming from his lack of not doing anything during the season so far. He's traded for Wilson , that's it. He has a lot of players to move by the deadline and there's no reason why he shouldn't be off loading them now if there are offers on the table for them. We keep hearing of rumors of interest by many teams on different players, yet nothing is getting done. Why always wait until the the last hour on traded deadline day to move players? A far superior return isn't going to magic happen in the last hour, in fact, usually the opposite happens and you get much less for a player. GMJB procrastinating has probably significantly hurt Kane's return. |

Ullmark, Guhle, and Smith all do burn a year. Nylander slides again.
Agree with your points in general though.

As much as GMTM gets bashed, he was an entertaining interview. He said that he hated deadline day because no one would finalize a deal until the final hour. I have no idea if he's had a good offer from a team ready to finalize a deal or not. I do know that I don't trust the media on trade rumors at all.

So I want trades like all the time, but it is tough to understand specific details, but I can only imagine that a new GM gets low ball offers for his players on a bottom feeding team, until the deadline. So it's hard to say he should have moved guys when we don't know what was on the table for any guy. I mean who has been traded during the season that you would have wanted? |

Point taken, But deals are still made all the time and there's no reason why GMJB needs to wait until deadline day to get things done, especially since he has a lot to get done.
But if he's going to throw a tantrum and be slamming doors over the piss poor play of the bums he's iced, then it's his job, and only his job to do something about that. Don't cry about it, be about it, and send someone packing already. How much more "evaluation" time does he need to know Larsson and Girgensons suck and he should probably be looking at finding them new homes?
If this season is a tank job and the goal is to be last, great, we're on course. But if he's legitimately upset with this teams performance, sitting on his hands all day isn't solving anything. |

Seems like it’s gotta be one or the other to me.
If things are going to plan, no tantrums.
If there are tantrums, the plan isn’t working and make something happen. |
