I just dont see the overcooking thing..

Coots has been on this team since the first year he was eligible ..Yes he is a beast this year..yes some of that is playing with Giroux and recently TK but as much as it is Coots looks like a totally different player. They have tried playing Coots with other strong players before and prior to this season he never produced like this.

Style match has to be considered, Schenn needed a centermen to set him up, so did Simmonds. Jake, well he is Jake. Having G and TK really fits Coots. Coots likes to drive the net (maybe why Jake wasnt as good as a fit). G is sublime with his passing and Tk just is flat out fast with great hockey sense.

also keep in mind Coots missed some injury time. He pretty much finished the last 18 games as a point per game player last year.

I do think better team = better results

Not sure if late, but Detroit reportedly offered Flyers Mrazek for 3rd round pick and were declined .

we probably have 2 going on 3 so far here in the greater northeast part of philly. surprising to me that much laid that quickly with how warm its been the past few days. shows how much its really coming down.

I had a dream (nightmare) last night that Michal Sykora was on our blue line again. Clearly I need a hobby, or medication.

I figured that it could be in that mid to late teen range. They’ve been dealing with injuries since the start of the year and it’s starting to catch up to them. Not to mention that team has a history of early playoff round exits....that is probably the best case scenario Hextall could’ve hoped for.
