The fact that Hak placed out his 4th line during the last minute of play to try and reach overtime instead of taking a shot at winning in regulation is very disturbing to me.

He ran all 4 lines in the final minute 30. The coots g tk line started and finished.

I watched Lehtera out for most of the final 60 seconds without bothering to get off despite dragging himself around.

I'd be fine with Chad Johnson for what he is likely to cost. Definitely agree you cannot, under any circumstance, pretend that Neuvirth makes it a month straight, though obviously, we have all seen him play well for stretches

Ambivalent about them making a move. Not because I don't want them to be aggressive -- I do. I always do. I think this is a pretty good team with a few weaknesses that we all know.

It's more that what they need doesn't exactly line up with what the trade market is looking like, from what I see.

Another forward is always great, but they honestly don't need one to be effective in the playoffs, if they make it.

I would love to see Ryan McDonagh, but that deal with that team simply isn't getting made. I would be stunned if they sold within the division when there will be comparable offers from elsewhere

No other defensemen out there excite me for what they would cost. Even with the limitations of the Flyers' group, it's probably better to view Sanheim as an option if someone gets hurt

This year's trade market is just odd. The bad teams don't really line up with where the Flyers are, as far as what they are looking to move.

Hextall's history indicates we shouldn't expect anything crazy, which is probably for the best

You’ve made your opinion quite clear, I disagree. You aren’t going to change my mind and I’m not going to change yours. Move on.

Not sure why considering it worked.

Flyers need to cash in on points where they can get them with the state of their division.

Glad they won despite Hak doing his best to throw the game away by playing Lehtera 14 minutes including a shift late in the 3rd where Columbus tied the game.

So, to confirm, you think that Lehtera's usage is justifiable?

Don’t look now, but that St Louis pick may just be better than expected. They could end up, with a bit of luck, just missing the playoffs. The pick is top 10 protected, but if it ends up at 14 or 15, I’ll be very happy!

I think we've reached Vandevelde level hysterics in here with Lehtera. Yes I think he's fine in the role he is playing.

I think Filppula has been worse than Lehterä, but in all honesty, Lehtera’s offensive output this season is a joke for an NHL forward and actually worse than that of VdV last season.

See that’s the rub.....you have Giroux, Coots and Vorecek having career years....ghost and Provy forming a legit # one pairing and Elliot playing a really reliable game....so are they winning in spite of Hak or because of? Could they be better? I’m not a big fan of Hakstol but that would change if he can have playoff success....to me the jury is still out on whether he will be a long term successful NHL coach.

Lehtera has 22 shots all season, in 40 games.

Even Weise has 39 shots in 39 games.

Lehtera has been so completely ineffective its mind boggling. 3 assists, ZERO goals. The only thing he does remotely well is win faceoffs (54.3% in a relatively small sampling of 105 faceoffs taken)

VdV in 16-17: 81 GP, 6 goals and 15 points with zero pp usage

Lehterä in 17-18: 40 GP, 0 goals, 3 points with limited pp usage

Sorry, it’s not even close. Lehterä is not a legit NHL forward at this point.

Switching gears, it was awesome to see two of the best d-pairs going against each other last night. I can't believe Jones dropped in the draft -- He's soo good right now.

I was screaming at the screen for the flyers to move up when he dropped. I still don't understand why he dropped that far.

In a round about way the Habs ended up with the poopty Drouin tho so I'm ok with it.
