Really messed up that Soshnikov got a 4th round pick (in 2019) but still. Last season Chicago paid a 3rd for Tomas Jurco who had 2 points in 30 some games or something.

Yet Vanek who had 35 more points only got a 3rd as well.

NHL is a young man's game. Team would rather pay for a younger player then an older one. Even if the older player is much better.

Goldobin is a step away from the KHL, he's been sliding down the depth chart on a team with few prospects (AHL).

I like Hutton but selling low right now and still see Domi as by far the best current and future player.

with a D core so thin I hesitate to trade hutton. But I do agree acquiring domi in that trade would be good for the team otherwise. Do it if you pledge to shore up D in off season/draft.

For as long as i can remember the local media are hatchet artists on any pro team we’ve had in Vancouver. Maybe the Whitecaps are the only team who don’t receive the regular abuse. I also notice the media jumps on board suckholing when the times are good. Therefore it explains much why our fanbase is no different. Trolling the lemmings is good for business.
