This team is bleeding Goals Against.

By the 57 game mark last year Vancouver had submitted 24 less Goals against compared to this year.

Ours Goals For is up compared to last year

But our Goal differential is substantially worse from the past 2 seasons in comparison

isn't it amazing.
We throw temper tantrums at the management not selling off older players for literally anything, then we turn around and see what the asking cost would be to RE-acquire them. it's mind boggling.

BTW

Ill be there for you, when the rain starts to pour
Ill be there for you, like iv'e been there before
Ill be there for you, cause you're there for me too

At least it is more entertaining....safe Willie style was just as ineffective in the win/loss column but boring as (frank)

There building a fast, physical take no crap culture on the farm that will translate to the canucks once the twins are gone and then the pictures change, so in the meantime we have people with nothing better to do but ridicule behind a phoney alias on computors, not intended to you personally.

There’s like 3-4 decent prospects down there and 1 is the goalie...I’ll buy this when they actually have an AHL team that isn’t full of lifelong AHL’ers

Defense is terrible, most of the forwards are also meh/weak defensively and Markstrom is trash during 1 periods and not a legit #1 goalie

Goldobin is a step away from the KHL, he's been sliding down the depth chart on a team with few prospects (AHL).

I like Hutton but selling low right now and still see Domi as by far the best current and future player.

- belcherbd

Hutton for Domi is almost fair value I would say. Goldy would be the add for a kid with potential to be a top 6 forward to replace the loss of a top 6.

I like the style they play but other than that I don't see a big difference between him and Willie. Maybe when the team is good they will get an NHL coach.

He hasn't been the same shooter since he knocked kesler out, but last year he was on pace to have a better season than his rookie year. He is more of a playmaker with grit than a sniper anyways. He would be a great addition on that line. Someone with good vision and can pass. He also plays on a poopty team this year, worse than the last 2 years.

Benning needs to start winning the majority of his trades if the team is ever going to get better.

At this point Domi is a high-risk move. He's an RFA at end of this year and maybe Arizona knows they won't be able to re-sign him. His stats indicate something is clearly wrong with his situation.

This looks fairly similar to the Pouliot situation, and while that looked good initially I'd say the jury is still out on whether or not he's going to be worth the two assets that were used to get him.

If Hutton is going to be moved, you have to look at all other possible returns for him and perhaps another organization is prepared to part with something better than what Domi's going to be worth next October.

Its the back end that needs the most work, a great defence and goaltending solves a lot of problems.

Except Domi is still producing(not at the same pace, but that team sucks ass right now), he creates chances that are getting finished. I don't see him as High risk. I see keeping Hutton as high risk as Green is going to destroy his value. Sell high on Hutton and Goldy before their value dips.

Nilsson is career backup. Markstrom has upside but the guy is mentally fragile.

Team only has 2 legit top 4 dmen

What would it take for Hansen to swap back into a Canuck Jersey tonight?

We are already bringing Bieksa, Hamhuis and Hansen back. Do we really have roster space for Burrows?
