As a paid writer for hockeybuzz, Seattle is secretly working on a deal to have two teams in the city their first year.

One will be brand new, the other is the Panthers relocation.

My thinking is the Leafs can taste playoff success.. The only goalie with the experience is Hank. I would do it if I was them. Its about winning the cup, who cares how young Andersen is, a cup win is a cup win. I hope they dont, but who knows.

Leafs are building a dynasty, not a one and done.

Most teams have been working deals where they throw in a high draft pick if they sign an extension or make it to the playoffs/finals.

For sure. I've seen some bizarre ones that factor guys CORSI's and TOI into further draft picks. I'm not a big fan of all those assurities tho, I like the gamble and risk of trades more than all the built in insurance policies they get the lawyers to write in.

you only get a penalty if you challenge a goal because of offsides. everything else you just lose your timeout.
