In my opinion, Mac alone will not bring those returns. Not too far off, but I think Foote and 1 pick, Carlo or Debrusk and the 1st, and we add a high pick for Sergachev.

Those 1sts will be in the late 20s for the Foote deal, same with Carlo and Debrusk deal. When you break it down it’s a big risk for the Rangers for a proven top pair dman, the deals could look something like this.
Foote(prospect) 28th overall in 2018, 25th overall in 2019

Debrusk(good not elite) Carlo (solid defensively but not offensively) and the 29th overall

When you break it down like that is it really crazy to think? Sergachev would be tricky and probably require another piece to be added but if McD is willing to sign an extension maybe not.
